Freedom Recycling Ltd is undergoing a period of expansion and has bought a used Haas Tyron 2000XL to bolster their shredding operation.
Freedom Recycling Ltd is a family run business established in 2005, offering a range of waste & recycling solutions. They operate an Environment Agency licensed 50,000-tonne facility based in Norfolk where they offer solutions from 4-yard household skips to commercial scale bespoke recycling solutions.
They admirably adhere to a zero to landfill policy. All materials are sorted and segregated to be recycled or reused. If any materials cannot be recycled, they are either sent for further treatment and/or used in power generation facilities as fuel.
There are expansion plans in place for the site, with a multi-stage static plant soon to be installed to increase process efficiencies. As part of these expansion plans, Freedom Recycling has bought a used Haas Tyron 2000XL from Matpro Machinery to bolster their shredding operation.
The Haas Tyron is used as a pre-shredder, allowing for the waste material to be shredded down to a target size before it is processed further through the facility.
Matpro Machinery went to visit Freedom Recycling to see how the Haas Tyron has been performing, and to capture some footage of the machine in action.
